James has over 20 years of technology experience from working at organizations such as Akamai, Salesforce and Oracle Corporation in sales and product-focused roles.  Prior to joining Ab Initio, he was responsible for business development and the developer experience for SAP’s collaboration products.

The ‘always on’ digital economy has reset business expectations about data and what we can do with it. As CIOs, we are caught in a perfect storm; with more data than we can process, changing faster than we can handle, in the hands of data scientists we cannot control or ignore. We are under pressure to empower them – with agility and responsiveness – on technology foundations that are operationally robust, scalable and well-governed. We shall consider this impossible challenge, and some of the lessons learnt (and value delivered), by CIOs at enterprises who have taken the journey with us.
