Reinhold Wochner – Group CISO @Erste Group Bank AG
Reinhold Wochner, MSc, MBA, working in Erste Group Bank AG as Group CSO responsible for Cyber/Information Security, Digital Security Competence Center, Physical Security and BCM/CM. Before he covered in Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) various security positions (Lead Digital Security, Group CISO, Deputy Group CSO). Working for more than 27 years in the security area (17 years in the financial sector) he is challenging new security technologies for business readiness.  Consulting CEO, COO, CRO, CFO on Security related topics is his passion that is backed up by several International Certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CRMA, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC). At RBI his responsibilities included Security Risk Management and Security Governance in covering 23 units including international banks and shared service centres. He was also responsible for the Security Research and Solution Center (SERAS) at RBI where new technologies for the financial sector have been evaluated in terms of security impacts. Beside his master degree in Security Management he studied at leading international universities for science and technology (HKust University Hong Kong, University of Colorado Boulder) and holds an MBA in Integrated Management Systems.
